Mois de la Mode: Milan Fashion Week

MILAN FASHION WEEK

Milan Fashion Week was a great display of the main aspects of great fashion. For me, it is the Color, Print, Construction and the genuine understanding of the consumer's wants. I found that out of all the Fall Fashion Weeks, I enjoyed Milan the most. With that being said, ease on down the blog!

Versus- Look 28

The Prints, the cut, the embroidery; the impeccable construction of it all...Jeez, Milan impressed me. Bally's crimson leather military jacket was immaculate. D&G, Armani, Iceberg, Prada and Versus's colors POP my EYES OUT. Rimondi, Dsquared^2, Pucci, Gucci, Beccaria, Cavalli, Ferragamo had stunning dresses with velvet cut; just right, and lace embroidery for days! I saw so many jaw dropping ensembles. Oh my Gosh, The MVP of Milan was definitely Versace, hands down! Those fitted gowns, the defined look of the make up and hair, the glitz and glamour; BOZZLE! I think that if I touched a Versace piece, my hands would sizzle and burn because I am stupid and poor and Ms. Donatella Versace screams expensive. Versace kills me everytime. I live, breathe and die for the Versace haus.

Thank you for reading this week's edition on Dose of Fashion. I hope that in this entry you've gained even more style than you already had; and I know ya'll some stylish Mamma-Jammas! With that OPEN up your Mind, Heart and Mouth! Fall in love with fashion with me. Leave me a message, Por Favor. Same time, Same Place, Different Designer Medications!

Mois de la Mode: Paris Fashion Week

Paris is ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!! From an early age I knew that I was bound to have an autumn studio there for times I grew bored of my American surroundings. One day, Syana; One Day.... On to more pressing matters!

For this year's Fall fashion, we have details Details DETAILS!! I have seen clean, beautifully finished pieces. The fabrics and textures have consisted of silk, cotton, and velvet paired with amazingly vibrant colors.

Were the shows awesome? Yes!! Did I get weak in the knees? Maybe...Whats it to you? Did I cry a little? sure, depends on the show. You really have to see it for yourself. SCROLL along!

I loved ALL of these shows! I found that I adored Paco Rabanne the most. There is something, about a flat hairy coat, fashioned into an armor-like cage dress that just makes me... quiver a little.
